Let me start this blog by saying that I hope you are all keeping safe and well in these unprecedented times. That seems to be an overused phrase right now, doesn’t it? Unprecedented times. Like many of you, I am trying to focus on the positives and avoid too much negative press where possible. I wanted to post something to help lift spirits – more than ever in these tough times. I know that you lovely readers like nothing more than a good giveaway. Who wouldn’t? Pre-children I used to enter giveaways as a hobby and I found it exciting and fun – even more so if I won anything!! When I can I like to bring you giveaways I know you will love and I have recently joined forces with a number of other bloggers to bring you a fantastic giveaway that is perfect right now! Further details can be found below regarding the prize, the other bloggers involved and of course the important steps to enter.

I’ve been going to the supermarket as normal (I’m in Guernsey).
I cant claim any specials, because i’m in NZ.
Because I’ve been deemed especially vulnerable, I qualify for a free food box. I’ve had two so far and in the interim, I do have people I could call on if I really wanted something from the shops.
I have not ventured out because we are 70 plus and self isolating. We have been really lucky because we are having home deliveries from Iceland
Luckily I have been able to get out to the shops once a week to get my shopping as my husband is working from home and can look after my foster son while I am out
My partners been doing the shopping for us and his parents and they are vulnerable.
My fiance has been doing all our shopping, i work at the hospital, so this is his contribution lol

Luckily we have been able to get assistance / help from a local charity, who has been delivering food boxes.
