30 Ways To Feel Happier Right Now

I have spoken at length in the past about suffering from both anxiety and depression. I have suffered since I was a lot younger and it’s something I’ve battled with for quite a long time. I’ve even spoken about how I struggled during pregnancy! Although I do feel that my mental health is the best it’s been right now, I still always worry that it’s there in the background. I get a lot of messages from readers who are suffering from anxiety or depression, and often they’re reaching out to say that they can relate to what I have written previously or they are on this asking for some kind of reassurance that it gets better.

Some days can be really overwhelming, particularly stressful or just downright hard. My experience with anxiety and depression is that it’s a downward cycle that you can get into quite quickly and for me trying to break that cycle as soon as possible is imperative to remaining on a positive track. That’s of course, much easier said than done when you are in the moment. I have found that certain things can really help me get out of the cycle and make me feel better and happier. Remember that if you are struggling with depression, anxiety or low mood that just a mild improvement is something. You might not feel back to yourself or back to being the bright and bubbly person that you know you can be but if you just have a lift in mood – even if you still feel low overall then that is something to be celebrated.
